Join Us Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 7pm for our monthly meeting where we will be interviewing two candidates for District 39 City Council, Jessica Simmons and Shahana Hanif.

Join Us Wednesday, April 28th at 7pm for our monthly SWBTU member meeting. This month we will discuss the recent New York State budget and implications for tenants rights and affordable housing. We will also be joined by a representative from Association for Neighborhood and Housing Development (ANHD) who will present their new housing platform, Right to a Roof, a universal platform that addresses the housing issues of tenants in New York City. Finally we will be planning our upcoming District 39 and 33 City Council Candidate Forums!

Join Us Wednesday, March 31st at 7pm for our monthly SWBTU member meeting. With elections approaching in June, we will discuss the roles of City Council, Mayor, and local Judges, and how they affect housing policy.

Join our partners at Housing Court Answers on Thursday, December 17th from 2pm to 4pm on Zoom to learn about how to file HP Actions online and understand the court process.

Join our partners at Housing Court Answers on Tuesday, December 15th from 2:30pm to 4:30pm on Zoom to learn what legally constitutes discrimination in housing for undocumented tenants.

Join CGNA leaders with the National Domestic Workers Alliance, Department of Consumer and Worker Protection, and other partners, to discuss new Safe and Sick Leave laws and how we will enforce them in 2021 and beyond.

Join the DSA Housing Working Group to learn how to start a tenant association (and why), hear from members about organizing in their buildings during the COVID-19 crisis. and how this work is connected to the current housing movement.
